The US Army "Freedom Team Salute" has kicked off a tangible Thanks to all the soldiers, spouses, parents, and veterans, by giving them a tangible Thanks. The package includes an official Army lapel pin, a US Army Decal, a letter of thanks and a certificate of appreciation. To nominate an individual for a "Freedom Team salute," go to http://freedomteamsalute.army.mil and enter the name and address of the person whom you wish to recognize. Spouse pins are topped with the word spouse, while parent pins are crested with parent. Veterans can visit the site and fill in their own name and address, Army spokesmen said. Their pins are marked with "Veteran." The letters of appreciation and certificates are signed by Army Secretary Harvey and Army Chief of Staff General Peter Schoomaker.
